Growing up in Klerksdorp, the player began his rugby journey in South Africa, a country known for producing talented rugby stars. His development in the sport eventually opened doors to bigger opportunities, including playing for the Stormers, one of South Africa’s well-known rugby franchises.

Playing for the Stormers provided him with valuable experience and an opportunity to compete at a high level. However, his career took a different direction when he moved beyond South African rugby and continued pursuing opportunities abroad.
