The victory crowns an impressive campaign for Ghana, who won eight of their ten matches, scored 44 goals and finished among the top eight teams in the world.

Top performers at the tournament included Shamsudeen Sulemana, who scored four goals in the 5-2 victory over Mexico, and Abdul Aziz Issah, who was consistent throughout with crucial goals, including strikes against Korea Republic, Mexico and Colombia.
