Against African Stars in the first leg of the CAF Champions League qualifier, Tshepang Moremi made his 50th Pirates appearance under Abdeslam Ouaddou, only the fourth player to achieve the feat after Oswin Appollis, Sipho Chaine and Lebone Seema. He also started the second leg. Pirates won that comfortably to cruise through the tie 5-0 on aggregate. Moremi struck a brace and claimed an assist against Milord FC in a 3-0 Telkom Knockout win midweek, underlining how critical he is to the cause right now. The 26-year-old has six goals and an assist in 10 appearances across all competitions.

Soweto giants Orlando Pirates welcome archrivals Kaizer Chiefs to Orlando Stadium on Saturday, 31 October. Kickoff in the derby is at 15:30. The match will air on DStv channel 202 and SABC 1.
