Jennifer Lopez has shared her frank reflections on searching for the ‘proof of love,’ two years after she split from her fourth husband Ben Affleck.

Lopez, 57, was discussing a new deluxe edition of her 2011 album Love? that is being released as an LP in collaboration with the fintech company Bilt.

Referring to the question mark from the original album title, she recalled ‘a time in my life when I was questioning things and was really trying to figure love out and everything,’ in a video with Bilt CEO Ankur Jain.

When Love? first came out, Lopez was married to her third husband Marc Anthony, with whom she shares her 18-year-old twins Max and Oskar.

The album has now been augmented with the newly recorded dance track Proof of Love, a song Lopez explained by saying that ‘you can really see the proof of love everywhere, but you have to find it within yourself.’

The Daily Mail has contacted Lopez’s representative for comment.

Lopez is currently navigating a new phase of life as an empty nester after Max and Oskar went off to college at the end of this summer.

Oskar’s high school graduation coincided with the revelation of his new trans identity after spending the bulk of his life known as Emme.

The original release of Love? included Lopez’s bestselling single ever, On the Floor, which was a rollicking club duet with Pitbull.

On the Floor was exposed to a new generation of fans this year thanks to a viral scene in the coming-of-age Amazon Prime series Off Campus.

One of the show’s principal characters Allie, played by Mika Abdalla, dances to the number at a Halloween party while in costume as Lopez.

Lopez chatted with Jain about On the Floor enjoying ‘a whole new resurgence 15 years later,’ observing that ‘nothing is old anymore, because people are discovering these things all the time and it’s new for them.’

Bilt, a membership service offering rewards on rent and mortgage payments, has teamed up with Lopez for its November’s Rent Day promotion.

Her brand partnership with the fintech app comes after she signed an eyewatering $20 million deal to become the face of Dolce & Gabbana.

Lopez, a longtime friend of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, lent her superstar luster to a Milan Fashion Week party the designers helped throw this summer at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, an upscale mall between the Duomo and La Scala.

Over two years ago, in August 2024, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on their second wedding anniversary, ending their second stab at a relationship.

They were first together from 2002 until 2004, igniting an enduring fan fascination with ‘Bennifer’ that went into overdrive when they rekindled their romance in 2020.

Lopez has not yet been able to successfully sell the $61 million Los Angeles mansion that once served as her marital home with Affleck.

Affleck and Lopez started trying to sell the house in June 2024 – two months before the divorce filing – and struggled in vain to offload the compound until Affleck gave up his entire stake this April, turning his interest in the property over to Lopez.
