Atiku Reacts To Report That President Tinubu Will Be Traveling Out Of Country To Pray For Nigeria

The former Vice President of Nigeria and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Atiku Abubakar has reacted to report that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be traveling out of the country.

This was made known in a post that Phrank Shaibu, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication to Atiku Abubakar shared on his official X account on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

This came after it was reported that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be traveling to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.

In the statement that surfaced online, Atiku Abubakar stated that nobody should call the name of Almighty Allah in vain. He said if truly the President is traveling to pray for Nigeria, the Presidency should release current photographs showing him at the Kaaba.

According to Phrank Shaibu on his official X account;

“Atiku said that if President Tinubu is truly traveling to pray for Nigeria, the Presidency should release clear, current, date stamped photographs and videos each day showing him at the Kaaba and participating in the rites of Umrah”.
