If anyone kidnaps two children and enter bush, we will leave Abuja and be in the bush with them- Obi

The presidential candidate of the NDC in the forthcoming 2027 presidential election, Peter Obi, has promised to fulfil all his campaign promises if elected into office.

Speaking during a town hall meeting in Kogi State, a woman in the audience complained that politicians make thousands of promises while campaigning but forget them immediately after assuming office.

Responding to the woman, Obi assured Nigerians that he would fulfil all his campaign promises. He added that if he was unable to fulfil any of them, he would explain to Nigerians why he could not do so.

He said, “I have told you that if I come into power, I will fight corruption the way it has never been fought before. If I get into office, I will make sure that I fight insecurity, and I will declare emergency. If anybody kidnaps two children and goes into the bush, we will be in that bush with them. We will not be in Abuja. We will unite the country. We will declare emergency in education because our children must go back to school.”
