‘Packed Stadium Isn’t Nationwide Support’ — Sowore Tackles APC Over Kaduna’s 5,000-Capacity Stadium
Omoyele Sowore, the 2027 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has criticised the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu’s administration over the crowd at Ranchers Bees Stadium in Kaduna, arguing that the gathering does not demonstrate nationwide support for the ruling party.
In a post on his official X account on Saturday, October 24, 2026, Sowore alleged that supporters had been transported from different parts of Nigeria to fill the stadium during Tinubu’s campaign rally.
“The APC and the Tinubu regime want Nigerians to mistake a ‘packed’ stadium for nationwide support,” Sowore wrote.
He stated in the same post that Ranchers Bees Stadium had a capacity of 5,000 people and alleged that supporters had been brought in from across the country to fill it.
Sowore also predicted that Tinubu would lose the 2027 presidential election.
His comments followed the APC campaign rally in Kaduna, where Tinubu addressed supporters ahead of the next general election.
