Tinubu, APC Leaders Did Rally In Kaduna, Wike Was In Kuje, Atiku Put Podium In His House, Obi Was On Tiktok Doing Challenge- Olayinka
Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has taken a swipe at opposition figures Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi over their political activities, contrasting them with President Bola Tinubu’s campaign flag-off in Kaduna State.
Olayinka made the remarks in a social media post on Saturday, highlighting the different activities of prominent political figures as political manoeuvring ahead of the January 16, 2027 presidential election continues.
According to him, Tinubu and other leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were in Kaduna to flag off the president’s campaign, while Wike had held a town hall interactive meeting in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory on Friday.
Olayinka added that Wike travelled to Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State on Saturday to engage stakeholders, including traditional rulers.
Contrasting these activities with those of opposition leaders, the Wike aide claimed that Atiku was preparing to address the press from a podium set up in front of his residence, while Obi was participating in a TikTok challenge.
“President Tinubu and other APC leaders were in Kaduna today, to flag off the Presidential Campaign.
“Wike was in Kuje Area Council, FCT yesterday, for a Town Hall interactive meeting.
“Today, Wike went to Bonny Local Government in Rivers State to speak to the stakeholders, including the traditional institution.
“Atiku is putting podium in front of his house to do press conference.
“Peter Obi is doing TikTok Challenge,” Olayinka wrote.
He concluded his post with a warning to political parties and their supporters against complaining about alleged electoral malpractice after the election.
“Make nobody sha cry rigging on January 16, 2027.
Olayinka’s remarks reflect the political exchanges surrounding campaign activities and public engagements ahead of the 2027 general election, with supporters of different political camps using rallies, stakeholder meetings and social media appearances to project their candidates and criticise their opponents.
While the post compared the activities of Tinubu, Wike, Atiku and Obi, it did not provide further details about the circumstances of the alleged podium setup at Atiku’s residence or the specific TikTok challenge involving Obi.
