Nairobi Woman Falls In Love with Mzungu Lady and Ends Up Marrying Her

A wedding photo captioned “my client is now my wifey” has set social media buzzing, after a Kenyan TikToker revealed that the woman she married first came to her salon for a hairdo.

In the picture, the Kenyan content creator wears a white off-the-shoulder ruffled gown, while her wife, a white woman, is in a dark suit jacket. The two embrace on a balcony with a scenic coastal backdrop, and the caption is followed by four red heart emojis.

The creator shared a series of images tracing how it all began. The first shows her braiding her future wife’s hair outdoors under a wooden gazebo, with the client seated and smiling as her cornrows take shape.

The story took a romantic turn when the woman came back for another appointment and invited the hairdresser out for dinner. Posting a photo of herself at a restaurant with a glass in hand, the TikToker wrote, “Later that night I was invited for a dinner, and of course I couldn’t say no.”

Another image shows a sweaty selfie taken in the middle of a full-body scrub session. According to the creator, her client dropped in for a photo while she was scrubbing the woman’s mother. Despite looking visibly flushed, she smiled beside the woman who would later become her wife.
