Ugandan shilling weakens against Kenyan shilling after brief recovery

The Ugandan shilling weakened against the Kenyan shilling in the week ending October 22, 2026, reversing a brief recovery earlier in the month, according to the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).Data in the CBK’s latest weekly bulletin shows that one Kenyan shilling bought 32.26 Ugandan shillings on October 22, up from 30.46 on October 15.
