“Anyone Who Helps Me, He’ll Kill Them”— Woman Opens up on Husband After Having 2 Kids With Other Men

According to a report by Ghanaweb on Thursday, October 22, 2026, a woman identified as Abena Ampomaa from Adumang in the Ashanti Region has appealed to her husband, Shaibu Mohammed, popularly known as Chief, to forgive her after revealing that two of the three children they have raised during their 14-year marriage are allegedly not his biological children.

Abena made the revelation during an appearance on Oyerepa Afutuo, a marital dispute programme on Oyerepa TV, on October 20, 2026.

She explained that one pregnancy occurred before her marriage, although she only discovered it after marrying Shaibu. She also admitted to having another relationship with a different man, which reportedly resulted in another child.

According to Abena, financial difficulties and disagreements in her marriage contributed to her decision to seek assistance from another man because she felt her husband was not meeting her needs.

She said fear had prevented her from revealing the children’s paternity earlier but eventually decided to confess.

Abena disclosed that the children involved are currently 14 and 11 years old. She alleged that her husband became angry after learning the truth and threatened to prevent their biological fathers or anyone else from providing financial assistance.

She further claimed that Chief threatened her father, who reportedly died about two weeks before her appearance on the programme. However, her allegation does not independently establish any connection between the threats and his death.

Abena also alleged that her husband vowed to stop supporting the children, saying he had cared for them for years and wanted her to take full responsibility for their upbringing.

When contacted by phone during the programme, Chief reportedly accused his late father-in-law, Mr Nyame, an SDA church leader, of knowing about the children’s paternity but concealing the information.

He also claimed responsibility for his father-in-law’s death, according to the account of the conversation. The allegation remains unverified, and no independent evidence establishing the circumstances of the death was provided in the account.
