Nigerian entertainer and comedian Ladipo Akewusola Saheed, popularly known as MC Always, has revealed the different names and identities through which audiences recognise him, highlighting the versatility that has contributed to his presence in the entertainment industry.

He made this known during an interview with Abiola Adebayo on Talk to B Ent on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, while introducing himself and explaining how his stage name and the different characters he portrays have become associated with his work.

MC Always explained that although many people know him by his popular stage name, others recognise him through the characters he plays in comedy skits and entertainment productions. These identities, he indicated, have become familiar to audiences who follow his performances and have helped distinguish his work.

The entertainer mentioned several names associated with his public image, including Area Brother, Baba Pikin and Oga Landlord in Cute Abiola’s compound. The names reflect the different roles and comic identities through which viewers have come to recognise him, showing that his entertainment career is not limited to a single character or personality.

His remarks also highlighted the connection between entertainers and the characters they create, as audiences sometimes become more familiar with a performer’s on-screen identity than with their personal name. For MC Always, these different names have become part of how people identify him across his comedy and acting engagements.

While his stage name remains the identity by which many people know him, the other names have also become part of his recognition among fans and viewers familiar with his performances.

Speaking during the interview, MC Always explained the different identities associated with him, saying: “People know me as MC Always. To some people, I am Area Brother, to some I am Baba Pikin; to others, I am Oga Landlord in Cute Abiola’s compound.”
