A politician allied to the Linda Mwananchi movement is facing a possible arrest warrant after the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) gave him seven days to appear before it over remarks he made at a church service in Donholm, Nairobi.

The commission warned that failure to attend the scheduled hearing could lead to his arrest or criminal and contempt proceedings.

In a summons dated Monday, October 19, 2026, NCIC directed former Makadara Member of Parliament Reuben Ndolo to appear at its offices on the 17th floor of Britam Tower, Upper Hill, Nairobi, on Monday, October 26, at 2 pm.

The summons concerns remarks Ndolo made on Sunday, October 18, at Jesus Teaching Ministry Church in Donholm during a service attended by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and other leaders associated with the Linda Mwananchi movement.

The commission said it was investigating the statements under several provisions of the National Cohesion and Integration Act, which mandates it to promote national unity and peaceful relations among communities.

NCIC stated that Ndolo would have an opportunity to respond to the matters under investigation, present evidence and make representations before it makes a determination.

The summons warned that failure to appear in person at the specified date, time and venue could result in arrest warrants being issued for his arrest and production before the commission. Criminal or contempt proceedings could also be instituted against him.

During the church address, Ndolo spoke about his role in mobilising youths to Migwena Cultural and Sports Ground in Bondo for Raila Odinga’s first death anniversary.

The ex-Makadara MP said he had travelled to Busia, Luanda and Bondo to mobilise young people after receiving instructions from Babu Owino and Edwin Sifuna.

He also criticised ODM leaders allied to the broad-based government over what he described as disrespect towards Raila’s widow, Ida Odinga.

Ndolo alleged that some leaders had attacked her, while others had travelled abroad. He claimed that ODM leaders led by Gladys Wanga and Junet Mohamed had hired a plane to travel to Dubai, failing to attend the event.
