Ho, Jan. 2 GNA – Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health (GCNH) Thursday through GOSANET Foundation, an Implementing Partner under the GAVI – CDS Year 3 Project donated health logistics to the Ho Municipal Health Directorate at a ceremony in Ho.

The items include two floor-type weighing machines, two salter weighing scales, one arm-type electronic blood pressure monitor, and 10 digital thermometers.

Mr. Samuel Yao Atidzah, Executive Director of GOSANET Foundation presenting the items stated that the items were aimed at strengthening routine healthcare delivery, particularly in support of immunization, maternal and child health services within the Municipality.

He reaffirmed the Foundation’s continued collaboration with GCNH to support government health systems through strategic partnerships that enhance service delivery at the community and the facility levels.

The Executive Director noted that the donation aligned with the objectives of the GAVI – CDS Year 3 Project which seeks to improve access to quality immunization and child health services.

He said it also highlighted the importance of collaboration between Civil Society Organisations and the GHS in advancing public health outcomes and strengthening primary healthcare delivery in Ghana.

Madam Perfect Titiati, Ho Municipal Health Director, receiving the items expressed her appreciation to GCNH and GOSANET Foundation for their timely support.

She described the items as essential tools that would improve monitoring, diagnosis and overall quality of healthcare across health facilities in the Ho Municipality.
