Stern Warning Radio Presenter Fred Machoka Gave Orwoba After Her Wantam Chants

Drama unfolded at Ulinzi Sports Complex on Saturday night during the Machoka @50 Grand Concert when Veteran broadcaster Fred Obachi Machoka was celebrating 50 years in media.

The drama ensued when he invited his niece, former nominated Senator Gloria Orwoba, on stage to greet the crowd who had gathered to witness the colorful event.

Instead of a celebratory message, Orwoba grabbed the mic and started chanting “Wantam”, the popular anti Ruto slogan calling for one term. Aside from that, she also flashed the hand signal to affirm her sentiments.

However, her uncle Machoka was visibly angry and he immediately interrupted her and called security to kick her out of the stage.

As the security team moved to escort Orwoba off stage, Machoka issued a stern warning that has now gone viral. Through his firm directives he indicated that whenever she (Orwoba) is with him, she has no authority but she must fully obey and respect his platform.

Meanwhile, those at the event said that Fred Machoka was right in protecting his brand, arguing that the concert was a non-political celebration featuring rhumba stars, to honour his legendary Roga Roga show.

Aside from that, a section of the crowd was left stunned with the dramatic scene with some shouting “family beef” as Orwoba was led away.
