Real Madrid need a morale-boosting win when Villarreal visit the Santiago Bernabeu in La Liga on Saturday.

Rumours have already suggested Jose Mourinho is struggling to win over the dressing room while results have provided little evidence of any tangible improvement following a difficult season under Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa.

Villarreal could provide another stern test. The Yellow Submarine have made a slightly underwhelming start under new boss Inigo Perez but they will be expected to challenge for the Champions League spots come the end of the season.

The visitors are ninth, seven points and five places behind Madrid.

Real Madrid versus Villarreal kicks off at 8pm BST on Saturday October 10, at the Santiago Bernabéu.

In the UK, it will be shown on Disney+. In Spain, the game is live on Movistar LaLiga and Orange TV.
