Natembeya dares Ruto to keep off Trans Nzoia market project

Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has challenged President William Ruto not to take credit for a market project in the county, insisting it was funded by the county government and the World Bank.Speaking during a public gathering on Saturday, October 10, 2026, Natembeya said the President would not be welcome to claim ownership of the project, amid growing political differences between the two leaders over development and the governor’s “Tawe” slogan.
