As music lovers continue to celebrate Bad Bunny’s star-studded Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday night (February 8), one voice stood out for not joining the cheer, and that is Chris Brown.

Despite being hailed as one of his generation’s top performers, Chris Brown has never graced the world’s biggest stage: the ‘Super Bowl Halftime Show’, much to the frustration of his loyal fanbase.

Celebrity supporters, including Ne-Yo, Tyga, and Boosie Badazz, among others, have publicly campaigned for Brown to headline next year’s spectacle.

Boosie even launched an online push to catch the attention of NFL and Apple Music decision-makers.

Chris Brown seems to agree. “I think it’s safe to say…they need me,” the ‘Loyal’ singer wrote on Instagram during Bunny’s performance, which featured Cardi B, Ricky Martin, Lady Gaga, Jessica Alba, and more.

Although he didn’t specify who “they” referred to, fans quickly connected the timing of his post to the halftime show.

Reactions were mixed, as some echoed his confidence, while others accused him of being bitter.

Tons of celebrities, including his close friend Davido, have expressed their support, rooting for his wish to come true.

Whether Chris Brown will ever headline the show remains uncertain.

He once claimed he would “never do it,” although his manager later suggested otherwise.

But for now, the debate continues: ‘Is Chris Brown destined for the Super Bowl spotlight, or will it remain out of reach?
