IHRA licensing assessments continue in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) on Monday conducted a licensing assessment of General Practice Hospital and Bee Well International Hospital to evaluate compliance with mandatory healthcare standards and requirements.

According to official sources, IHRA assessors evaluated the hospitals against the Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) indicators as part of the ongoing licensing process.

The assessment covered relevant standards concerning patient safety, quality of healthcare services and public health requirements, following which a comprehensive assessment report was prepared.

The activity forms part of IHRA’s regulatory mandate to ensure that healthcare establishments operating in the federal capital meet prescribed standards before issuance of a licence.

The authority emphasized the importance of compliance with MSDS requirements in improving the quality of healthcare services, strengthening patient safety and ensuring safe healthcare environments.

IHRA has been conducting licensing assessments of healthcare establishments in Islamabad as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare regulation and promote quality and patient-centred care.
