I Watched A Video; I Need To Check To See It’s Not AI, They Were Stoning An APC Gov On Stage–Shield

Political commentator Henry Shield has criticised the All Progressives Congress (APC) government for its performance, saying Nigerians are unhappy with the party ahead of next year’s presidential election in January.

Speaking during an interview on SYMFONI TV, Shield accused the government of making life difficult for Nigerians over the last three and a half years.

He also criticised the distribution of N50,000 to Nigerians, describing it as an attempt to influence voters ahead of the election. He said the money would not change people’s minds about the government.

Shield further claimed that Nigerians had shown their anger towards the APC during its two campaigns. He recalled watching a video in which people allegedly threw stones at an APC governor while he was on stage in Kaduna.

He added that President Bola Tinubu had the chance to become Nigeria’s best president because he faced no major opposition or challenges from the National Assembly, but he failed to use the opportunity to deliver good governance.

In his words, “Have you seen how Nigerians have treated them in their two campaigns? In Kaduna, there was even one; I was watching the video, I need to go and check to see that it’s not AI. They were stoning the APC governor on stage.”
