“Don’t Try Us, I’ll Not Entertain You Next Time” Sifuna Warned By Ruto’s Close Ally

Copy Email Telegram Gmail Whatsapp Facebook0 Pinterest0 Twitter Linkedin0 The Linda Mwananchi Movement Party leader Senator Edwin Sifuna has no doubt been giving President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza Alliance Government sleepless nights.

But the former Orange Democratic Movement Party Secretary General, Senator Edwin Sifuna has received A stark warning ahead of the forthcoming general elections to be held in August next year.

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has issued a stern warning to opposition leaders, specifically targeting Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna over his political strategy in the Western Kenya region.

Addressing clergy and community stakeholders in the region, the Prime Cabinet Secretary accused rising opposition figures of playing tactical games with the Luhya electorate, declaring that such political gambling will no longer be tolerated.

Mudavadi cautioned the region against being misled by political movements that lack established national structures, pointing out that winning the presidency requires broad organizational capacity across all 47 counties.

He noted that relied-upon tactics of holding marketplace rallies and making loud public declarations do not translate into the nationwide infrastructure needed to secure state power.

The Prime Cabinet Secretary stressed that newly established outfits and opposition factions attempting to build political networks just months before a general election cannot realistically compete against well-funded and structured ruling coalitions.

He argued that isolating the Western region into speculative political ventures would leave the electorate without meaningful leverage, falling far short of the constitutional thresholds required for presidential victory.

Urging voters to focus on long-term development, stability, and continuity, Mudavadi emphasized that the Luhya nation must remain anchored within government alignment rather than following unviable political pursuits.

His hard-line stance signals an intensifying struggle for control over the Western region’s vote bloc, as government insiders move aggressively to protect their traditional strongholds against opposition encroachment.
