Charlene Ruto’s wedding to Tanzanian entrepreneur Isaya Yunge continues to attract attention, with the groom now offering a personal glimpse into the journey that brought him to the special occasion.

Yunge recently shared a video capturing his trip to Mwanza, Tanzania, where the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony attended by family, friends and prominent personalities from both countries.

The footage showed the entrepreneur travelling aboard a private aircraft before arriving to find a fleet of black Mercedes Benz G Wagons waiting for him.

Rather than focusing only on the luxurious arrangements, Yunge used the moment to express what the journey meant to him personally.

In his Instagram caption, he described travelling back to Mwanza to marry Charlene as an experience unlike any other he had undertaken.

His message reflected the excitement and significance of beginning married life with someone he loves.

The celebrations also featured carefully planned arrangements for guests travelling from Kenya. Images shared online showed an aircraft decorated with personalised details celebrating the couple.

The headrest covers carried Charlene and Isaya’s names, their initials, the wedding date and Mwanza, the destination of the celebrations.

These touches gave guests a sense of the occasion even before arriving at the venue.

Charlene and Isaya exchanged vows on November 6 at Malaika Beach Resort in Mwanza, Tanzania. The lakeside wedding brought together members of the Ruto family and guests from different parts of East Africa.

President William Ruto walked his daughter down the aisle, while First Lady Rachel Ruto was also present to witness the memorable occasion.

The wedding followed the couple’s traditional Kalenjin Koito ceremony held in Kilgoris, Narok County, in August.

The two celebrations marked important stages in their journey towards marriage, bringing together their families and different cultural traditions.
