“He Has Waited For Along Time” Farouk Kibet Names One Politician Who Will be President in Future

President William Ruto’s personal aide, Farouk Kibet, has expressed confidence in National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula’s political future, suggesting that he could one day become Kenya’s President.

Speaking about Wetang’ula’s political journey, Kibet said the Speaker had waited for a long time to reach his current position and deserved recognition for his patience and persistence. “Wetang’ula has waited for a long time. Today, he is the Speaker, but one day, he will be president,” Kibet said.

Wetang’ula, who leads the Ford Kenya party, currently serves as Speaker of the National Assembly, a position he assumed in September 2022 following the General Election.

Kibet’s remarks have sparked interest in Wetang’ula’s long-term political ambitions, particularly as political leaders begin positioning themselves ahead of the 2027 elections.

However, it remains unclear whether Wetang’ula intends to pursue the country’s top seat.
