The rally, which attracted supporters of the proposed Obi-Kwankwaso political alliance ahead of the 2027 general elections, reportedly witnessed violence after suspected attackers stormed the gathering and disrupted activities.
According to reports circulating on social media, the attackers damaged a campaign vehicle belonging to the NDC candidate for the House of Representatives in the area, Victor Ochei, and injured some participants.
