Charlene Ruto’s Lavish White Wedding Preparations in Tanzania Emerge in Viral Video

Preparations for President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, and her fiancé, Tanzanian entrepreneur Isaya Yunge, have attracted widespread attention after a video showing the planned white wedding venue emerged online.

The footage, which circulated on social media on Tuesday, November 3, offers a glimpse of the elaborate arrangements at a venue in Mwanza, Tanzania, Isaya’s hometown, where the couple is expected to celebrate their marriage.

One of the standout features is a huge perimeter wall decorated with the message, “Welcome to our wedding, Charlene & Isaya.”

The structure features beautiful pink and white floral designs, alongside large photographs of the couple dressed in elegant outfits. Charlene is pictured wearing a stylish black outfit, while Isaya appears in a smart formal suit.

The eye-catching decorations have drawn the attention of residents and passersby, with several people reportedly stopping to capture photographs of the display.

The video was shared on Instagram by content creator @uncledgar on November 3.

The development comes shortly after Charlene hosted an elegant bridal shower in Nairobi attended by close friends and family members, including her younger sister, Stephanie Jepchumba.

The celebration featured floral decorations, a special welcome arch and a customised cake carrying messages celebrating her transition from Miss to Mrs Yunge.

Charlene also expressed appreciation to the women who have supported her as she prepares to begin married life.

The upcoming white wedding follows the couple’s traditional Kalenjin Koito ceremony held on August 8, 2026, at Intonna Heritage Farm in Kilgoris, Narok County.

Isaya is a Tanzanian technology entrepreneur and founder of SomaApps, an education technology company based in Mwanza.

The preparations have continued to generate excitement among Kenyans and Tanzanians as the couple gets ready for their highly anticipated celebration.
