According to a Post by Ghbase on Facebook Official account on Tuesday, Nov 3, 2026, Fresh reports emerging on November 3, 2026, have raised concerns following claims that Joseph Owusu, a 24-year-old Ghanaian man who had reportedly been missing for approximately two weeks, may have been found dead at a dumpsite in the Bronx, New York.

According to information circulating online, a scrap metal collector allegedly came across a lifeless body concealed inside a rubbish bag while searching through discarded waste at a dumpsite. The discovery reportedly attracted attention, with claims suggesting that the deceased could be the missing Ghanaian identified as Joseph Owusu.

Owusu was said to have disappeared about two weeks ago, leaving relatives, friends and members of his community worried about his whereabouts. His alleged death has therefore generated concern among Ghanaians, particularly those living in the United States.

The 24-year-old was reportedly known for his dedication to church activities, serving as an organist at the Ghana United Methodist Church in the Bronx. His reported disappearance had raised questions among people familiar with him, but the latest claims have brought further uncertainty.

Interestingly, the reports emerged just hours after another disturbing incident involving 15-year-old Ghanaian teenager Javits Frimpong, who was reportedly shot dead while travelling to school in the Bronx.

The two separate reports have left many members of the Ghanaian community concerned about the safety of their compatriots living in the United States.

However, the circumstances surrounding the alleged discovery of Owusu’s body remain unclear. His identity and the claims surrounding his reported death have not yet been independently confirmed.

Ghbase News says it is making efforts to verify the information and establish the actual circumstances surrounding the incident.
