Reactions as Senator Ned Nwoko Appeals to the Public to Give Regina Daniels Breathing Space

Nigerian politician and businessman, Senator Ned Nwoko, has appealed to the public, particularly Regina Daniels’ fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators, to give the actress some breathing space as she continues to deal with personal and health challenges.

Nwoko made the appeal in a recent statement shared on his official Instagram account on Monday, 2nd November, 2026. He urged members of the public to show Regina love, compassion and support rather than subjecting her to public criticism and negative comments.

The senator explained that his appeal was also motivated by concern for their children, who deserve to see their mother supported and given every opportunity to recover. He added that Regina had been through a lot, more than many people might realise, and that what she needed most at this time was understanding, love and encouragement.

Nwoko also referred to Regina’s birthday video, which he said gave the public a glimpse of some of the health challenges she had been facing. He maintained that this was not the time to judge or criticise her but rather an opportunity to show compassion and allow her the space to recover.

Furthermore, the senator expressed concern over the circulation of false reports about the actress, particularly fabricated death announcements, misleading health reports and other disturbing publications on social media. He explained that Regina sees many of these posts and finds them deeply distressing, adding that such publications do not support her recovery but instead increase her emotional burden.

He appealed to her fans and supporters to discourage the spread of false information rather than share or promote such publications for social media engagement.

Nwoko also warned bloggers and social media users deliberately spreading false information about Regina’s death, health and personal circumstances to stop immediately. He disclosed that the publications were being documented and that anyone found responsible could face legal action through the appropriate channels.

He concluded by stressing that Regina deserves privacy, compassion and the opportunity to recover without being subjected to daily speculation and fabricated stories.
