“Gachagua Has Over 6 Million Votes” Kipkorir Explains Why Gachagua Will Decide the Next Election

Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has sparked fresh political discussions after making bold claims about former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s influence ahead of the 2027 General Election.

In his latest remarks, Kipkorir argued that Gachagua holds significant political power that could make him an important figure in determining the country’s next president.

According to Kipkorir, Gachagua commands more than six million solid votes, making him a politician who cannot easily be ignored.

He explained that the former Deputy President has the political strength to influence the direction of the next election, whether he decides to contest for the presidency or support another candidate.

Kipkorir further pointed out that Gachagua has two major political options ahead of the 2027 polls. He can either present himself as a presidential candidate or become a kingmaker by throwing his support behind another politician.

The lawyer suggested that either decision could have a major impact on the political calculations of different leaders seeking power.

He also mentioned President William Ruto, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, arguing that they understand the political importance of Gachagua.

Kipkorir appeared to caution politicians against underestimating the former Deputy President, noting that those who fail to recognise his influence could make serious political mistakes.

The remarks come as political leaders continue positioning themselves for the 2027 General Election, with questions emerging about possible alliances and presidential partnerships. Gachagua’s political direction is therefore likely to attract attention as the election approaches.

Whether he chooses to run for president or support another candidate remains to be seen. However, Kipkorir’s six-million-vote estimate is his own political assessment and has not been independently established.
