Witch Cries At Night, Baby Dies In The Morning, You Don’t Need To Ask Who Killed The Baby -Opuruozor

According to Arise TV on Saturday, November 1, 2026, the Special Adviser to Governor Hope Uzodinma on Electronic and Creative Media, Collins Opuruozor, has fired a shot at the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, over alleged interference in Imo politics.

Speaking on This Week anchored by Som Assambu, Opuruozor said the judgment declaring Rochas Okorocha winner of the Imo West APC primary cannot be separated from a larger plot to control the South East.

He said, “The witch cries at night and the baby dies in the morning. You don’t need to ask who killed the baby. There is a political overlord, a one-eyed political overlord, who has seen the Southeast as his playing ground.”

Opuruozor alleged that the same overlord had earlier imposed a National Secretary on the PDP when it was the turn of the South East to produce one. He recalled that stakeholders gathered in Enugu but were told Port Harcourt had sent a name, adding that the same pattern is playing out in Imo West.

He insisted that the APC in Imo State still recognizes Governor Hope Uzodinma as its candidate despite the Federal High Court judgment.
