Political enthusiasm has peaked across the capital as the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has successfully staged a major show of strength at Jacaranda Grounds, drawing thousands of energetic supporters into Eastlands.

According to an official statement published by Suna East MP Junet Mohamed on his verified X account, the senior political leader has proudly declared that Nairobi City has remained an undeniable “bedroom” for the ODM party, affirming their firm grip on the capital’s political landscape.

Junet Mohamed has stated that the party leadership has committed to keeping Nairobi firmly under ODM influence from the lowest MCA level to the highest elective offices.

He has highlighted that this relentless political mobilization has served as a direct tribute to honor the enduring legacy of the late party leader, Baba Raila Amolo Odinga.

In his passionate public message, the National Assembly Minority Leader has declared that the party has remained rock solid (Chama iko imara) and fully prepared (Tuko tayari) to navigate upcoming political developments in the city.

The bold statement from Junet has followed a massive reception at the venue, where top party leaders, including Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, Treasury CS John Mbadi and Kisii Governor Simba Arati, have joined him on stage before a sea of orange-clad loyalists.

The leaders have arrived after leading a giant motorcade through the streets of the Central Business District, attracting huge crowds that have accompanied the convoy all the way to Embakasi.

Visual coverage from live broadcasts on Chungwa TV has captured the immense turnout at Jacaranda, with thousands of enthusiastic supporters packing the grounds to capacity.

The massive turnout has effectively reinforced the party’s dominance in Nairobi, showing that their grassroots machinery has remained vibrant and unified.

As the grand finale of the commemorative activities has drawn to a successful close, ODM leaders have reaffirmed their resolve to maintain their historic grip on the capital city.
