Appiah Stadium Is Illiterate But Has A Thousand Times Better Intellect Than This Fool—Newton
According to a Post on Justice Newton official facebook account on Saturday, October 31,2026,Ghanaian social commentator Justice A. Newton-Offei has drawn attention to concerns expressed by award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie about murder cases in some Western countries, highlighting the importance of parental responsibility and proper child upbringing.
In a Facebook post, Justice Newton shared a publication by fellow commentator Albert Nat Hyde, popularly known as Bongo Ideas, which featured remarks attributed to Sarkodie on the growing concerns surrounding violent crimes and the values instilled in children.
In the remarks, Sarkodie reflected on the differences in how murder cases are received in Ghana compared with what he perceives as the frequency of such incidents in certain Western societies.
Although acknowledging that Ghana and other African countries are not without their own social challenges, the rapper expressed pride in the moral values and discipline many African children are taught while growing up, including those raised in economically disadvantaged communities.
He observed that murder cases in Ghana generally attract considerable public attention, media coverage and widespread condemnation, describing such incidents as particularly disturbing to society.
However, he expressed concern about reports of violent crimes in some Western countries, questioning the circumstances and upbringing that could contribute to children developing violent tendencies.
Sarkodie also stressed the importance of parents and guardians taking their responsibilities seriously by teaching children discipline, compassion, respect and the value of human life.
He particularly urged some Black parents living abroad to pay closer attention to their children’s upbringing, arguing that providing for children’s material needs should not come at the expense of instilling sound moral values.
The rapper’s comments have brought renewed attention to the influence of family environments on children’s behaviour and the responsibility of parents to guide their children towards becoming responsible members of society.
