Presidency Reacts As Sowore Asks Nigerians To Pray For Tinubu, Compares Him With Yar’Adua

Presidency has reacted to the statement that Nigerian activist and presidential candidate of African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore made about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This came after Omoyele Sowore asked Nigerians to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Pray for Tinubu. Like Umar Musa Yar’Adua who initially sought treatment in Germany before traveling to Saudi Arabia, Tinubu has made repeated trips to France and he’s now heading to Saudi Arabia”.

However, in a statement that was shared on the official X account of Dada Olusegun, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Social Media, it was stated that Tinubu is fit. He said the President is not traveling to Saudi Arabia for treatment but to pray for Nigeria.

“President Tinubu is not heading to Saudi Arabia for medical treatment. He is heading to the Holy Land for Lesser Hajj (Umrah), like other Muslims across the world, to offer supplications for the country and commit his re-election journey into the hands of God”.
