NLC President Ajaero denies TUC authority to reject transport relief

Comrade Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has declared that the Trade Union Congress (TUC) lacks the mandate to reject the ₦70,000 transport intervention recently proposed to cushion economic hardship.The friction follows the TUC’s decision to oppose the relief measure, which Ajaero claims was the direct result of specific negotiations that the TUC failed to attend.
