Nigerian Rhodes scholar wins Harvard-affiliated hospital’s cardiology award

Nigerian-born cardiology fellow and Rhodes Scholar, Dr Toluwalase Awoyemi, has received the William A. Schreyer Award from the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Programme at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Harvard Medical School, in Boston, United States.The award, presented on October 21, 2026, recognises a fellow who demonstrates outstanding clinical and academic excellence.
