Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has publicly praised President William Ruto, expressing confidence in his leadership and his efforts to transform Kenya through development programmes targeting key sectors of the economy. In a message shared on Wednesday evening, October 28, Passaris congratulated the Head of State, arguing that his vision, determination and willingness to make difficult decisions placed him among the world’s top five presidents in her assessment.

The legislator pointed to housing, healthcare and agriculture as some of the areas she believes are central to Ruto’s development agenda.

She also highlighted efforts to expand opportunities for Kenyans, saying the success of leadership should ultimately be reflected in improvements in people’s daily lives.

“Re-engineering a nation takes courage, sustained focus and a willingness to make difficult decisions,” Passaris stated in her message.

She added that her confidence in the President was based on what she described as his commitment to addressing key national priorities and delivering changes that could benefit citizens.

The Woman Representative further observed that the ultimate test of any transformation agenda was whether ordinary people experienced better living conditions.

According to Passaris, leaders must continue working together to fulfil that promise and ensure development efforts translate into meaningful benefits for public. She concluded her message by wishing Ruto wisdom and strength as he continues serving the country, while emphasising the importance of transformational leadership, focused delivery and service to the nation.

Her remarks add to the public commentary surrounding the President’s development priorities, particularly housing, healthcare, agricultural reforms.

However, Passaris’ assessment of Ruto as one of the world’s top five presidents was her personal opinion, as reflected in her statement.
