Rivers: Nobody Will Rig Our Election, You See That Lady They Call Uju, This Is a Warning — Pidomson

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Rivers State, Gabriel Pidomson, has warned against attempts to rig the 2027 governorship election, alleging that some officials may be planning to manipulate the process.

In a video shared by Channels Television, Pidomson spoke in Port Harcourt during the inauguration of the party’s governorship campaign council, where he declared that the ADC was prepared to defend the votes of Rivers residents.

He also criticised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, leader of the Rainbow Coalition, suggesting that Wike’s frequent visits to the state were driven by concerns over the ADC’s growing support.

Pidomson recalled visiting Bonny for a radio programme and meeting some residents, claiming that Wike visited the area the following day.

The ADC candidate said his party would respond to every new political challenge with determination.

He also issued a warning to a woman he identified as Uju, cautioning her against any alleged plan to rig the election.

Pidomson insisted that the ADC would not allow anyone to manipulate the results, adding that the party was aware of what he described as plans to rig the election.

In his words, “Nobody will rig our election. You see that lady they call Uju? That lady, this is a warning to her. Don’t plan to rig our election. Because we won’t allow you.”
