Bad News To President Ruto And His UDA Party As UDA Mt Kenya’s Vocal Ally Announces This

Mass exodus of UDA key allies from Mt Kenya region to opponent has continued to happen since the impeachment of DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua. Most of the UDA allies have been dumping President William Ruto’s camp in preparation for the next general election. The likes of Ndindi Nyoro, Irungu Kang’ata, Gathoni Wamuchomba and Tabitha Karanja are some of the big names that dumped the ruling party in this year.

Ahead of the elections, President Ruto’s side has received yet another blow following the decision of Eric Muchangi. The Runyejes member of parliament Eric Muchangi Karemba has dumped UDA ahead of the August 2027 general election. Hon Muchangi joins the long list of Mt Kenya leaders that have dumped Kenya Kwanza government. This continues movement of politicians from Ruto side will continue weakening the party in the mountain region and countrywide as well as it prepares to face the opposition.
