Sowore Reacts to Moment Remi Tinubu Appeared to Feed President at Kaduna Rally

Omoyele Sowore, Nigerian activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has questioned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s health following a moment involving the First Lady, Remi Tinubu, at the All Progressives Congress (APC) mega rally in Kaduna State.

According to a post shared on his official X account on Sunday, October 25, 2026, Sowore reacted to footage showing Remi Tinubu appearing to put something into the President’s mouth during the political gathering.

In his reaction, the AAC presidential candidate argued that claims about Tinubu being in good health were no longer credible, insisting that the President was sick.

Sowore used the phrase that every drug has an expiry date to suggest that what he described as the narrative about Tinubu’s good health had reached its end.

“This man is sick, I insist. Nigeria must stop using its Presidency to treat sick people. I have no power to prevent illness in anyone, including myself, but a vibrant country like Nigeria needs leaders whose health conditions are verifiable,” Sowore wrote.

His comments focused on the President’s health and the need for transparency regarding the medical fitness of those occupying the country’s highest political office.
