Malema Says MySol is a Small Boy and an “Impimpi” For White People Who’s Eating Mining Money Alone

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has directed sharp remarks at local mining businessman Solomon “MySol” Madibela during a campaign rally in Madibeng, North West.

Malema addressed supporters on Friday night at Letlhabile Stadium as the EFF intensified its campaign ahead of South Africa’s local government elections scheduled for 4 November.

During his speech, the EFF leader referred to Madibela as a “small boy”, telling the crowd that he did not consider the businessman someone to fear. He also challenged those attending the rally to relay his message to Madibela.

Malema went on to use the phrase “MySol se voet”, a dismissive expression he has reportedly used previously when referring to the businessman.

The EFF leader further stated that he would not be intimidated by individuals who believe their financial resources give them influence over others.

He warned against what he described as attempts to exert power in smaller towns, adding that he would confront those he believed were overstepping their position.

The remarks formed part of Malema’s address to supporters during the party’s election campaign activities in the North West.

His comments have brought renewed attention to the apparent tensions between the EFF leader and Madibela. However, the reasons behind their disagreement were not fully explained in the account of the rally.

The EFF is continuing its campaign as political parties prepare for the upcoming local government elections.
