Kenyan lady living in the Netherlands, Akinyi Atieno, has made an emotional appeal for help, claiming she is in an abusive and toxic marriage. She is calling for assistance as she seeks support amid the difficult situation.

In a video she shared online, the distressed woman is seen crying as she appeals for help, claiming that her efforts to seek assistance from police officers in the Netherlands have not yielded the results she hoped for.

Akinyi revealed that she has allegedly been subjected to abuse by her husband, leaving her feeling helpless and desperate for intervention.

She expressed frustration over the handling of her case, saying she had presented evidence of the alleged abuse but had yet to receive the assistance she was seeking.

According to her account, police officers informed her that investigations into the matter would take approximately eight weeks, a response that she claims has left her worried about her safety and uncertain about her next steps.

The woman believes that the evidence she has provided should help authorities understand the seriousness of her situation and take appropriate action.

However, she says the waiting period has added to her distress as she continues to seek a way out of the marriage.
