Situation as Kalonzo Storms Kitui To Open New Wiper Office Hrs Before Ruto’s Arrival For Rallies

Political tension has intensified across the lower eastern region as Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has stormed Kyuso in Kitui County to launch a new party office just hours before President William Ruto’s planned arrival.

According to a live broadcast broadcasted via Kalonzo Musyoka’s official Facebook page, the veteran opposition chief has gathered an energetic crowd dressed in branded attire to mark the occasion.

This high-profile political move has taken place while President Ruto has actively led his broad development tour across Ukambani.

Having conducted major launches in Machakos and Makueni counties, the Head of State has scheduled his next series of development rallies in Kitui tomorrow.

Kalonzo’s sudden appearance in Kyuso has directly served as a strategic counter-offensive to protect his core territory ahead of the presidential motorcade’s scheduled visit.

Addressing the cheering crowd gathered in Kyuso town, Kalonzo has urged local residents to remain steadfast within the Wiper movement while challenging the national administration’s economic policies.

Local leaders and grassroots supporters have shown strong solidarity, demonstrating firm allegiance to their kingpin as state officials have continued efforts to win over the region.

Analysts have noted that the timing of this office opening has effectively turned Kitui into an active battleground for regional political dominance.

As Kitui County has prepared to receive both leaders in close succession, local administration teams have stayed alert to guarantee public order during the competing rallies.

Residents across the region have followed the unfolding events with keen interest, eager to see how the political dynamics will play out.

Political commentators have emphasized that Kalonzo’s bold move has clearly signaled his determination to defend his home turf against government incursions.
