“Nikiwaomba Mtanipea?” Mosiria’s Message to Young Ladies Days After Being Fired

Geoffrey Mosiria interacted with young ladies after being recently fired by Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.

Mosiria who bumped into the group of young ladies at the streets began by accusing Sakaja of recently firing him for defending and standing with ladies against humiliation.

“Warembo wangu Ni uchungu sana, nilienda kuwatetea kwa sababu munadhulumiwa, mnapigwa wakasema kwamba mimi nasimama na nyinyi sana, nawapenda sasa walichukua kazi yangu ile nawasaidia nayo” Mosiria said.

Nairobi Governor officially fired Geoffrey Mosiria as The Public Participation, Citizen Engagement and Customer Service Chief Officer days ago. Reports indicate that Mosiria was removed with an immediate effect amid public fallout and shifting rivalries ahead of next year’s general elections. However Mosiria has accused Sakaja of firing him for standing with mothers, women and boy child. Remember Mosiria already expressed his Nairobi Gubernatorial race. Hence he pleaded with the group of ladies to vote for him. He promised to continue defending them.

“So nikiwaomba mtanipea? Hiyo kiti mtanipea? Hamtaninyima? So nikiwaomba mtanipea asubuhi na mapema?” Mosiria said.

The group of young ladies assured Mosiria that they will vote for him if he contests in next year’s general elections. This even as Mosiria promised to openly continue defending women’s rights.
