MUST WATCH: HOW Edwin Sifuna Receives Heroic Welcome at 45th CUEA Graduation Ceremony Amid Cheers

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna received a rousing welcome at the 45th graduation ceremony of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), with enthusiastic cheers from attendees highlighting the political figure’s growing public appeal.

The senator’s arrival sparked excitement among those present, as sections of the crowd broke into loud cheers to welcome him to the university’s graduation celebrations.

The reception added a political dimension to the academic event, which brought together graduands, families, university officials and invited guests to celebrate students completing their studies.

Sifuna, who also serves as the former Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) secretary-general, has remained a prominent figure in Kenya’s political scene, particularly amid ongoing discussions about the country’s political future ahead of the 2027 General Election.

His appearance at the ceremony comes at a time when political alliances, leadership debates and growing calls for political change continue to dominate public discourse.

The enthusiastic reception could further fuel discussions about his popularity among sections of the public, although the cheers at the event alone do not establish broader political support.

The 45th CUEA graduation ceremony provided an opportunity for graduates to celebrate their academic achievements, while Sifuna’s reception became one of the notable moments surrounding the event.

As political temperatures continue to rise ahead of the next election cycle, public appearances by prominent leaders are increasingly attracting attention, with the reactions they receive often becoming part of wider political conversations.
