Ichung’wah defends Elections Bill amid livestreaming controversy

National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah has defended proposed changes to Kenya’s electoral laws, saying the Elections (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, 2024, retains the requirement for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to establish a mechanism for livestreaming election results.
