HUAWEI have launched their latest smartwatch, this time putting medical-grade blood pressure monitoring right on your wrist.
So much more than your average smartwatch, HUAWEI’s new watch uses an innovative mechanical airbag system to measure blood pressure directly from the wrist. The new medically-certified Huawei Watch D3 supports 24-hour ambulatory blood-pressure monitoring, automatically taking readings during the day and overnight as well as comprehensive health monitoring features. The best bit? You can score a host of added extras when you shop today.

Between busy workdays, forgotten workouts and late nights, it can be easy to lose track of how you’re really feeling – and that’s where HUAWEI’S clever smartwatches comes in.
And this time the brand has increasingly moved into medical territory with a small yet accurate inflatable airbag built directly into its strap bringing the principle of a traditional upper-arm cuff-based monitor onto the wrist in a CE-MDR certified medical device.
Better still, shoppers who invest in the new HUAWEI WATCH D3 before November 3 2026 will receive a free HUAWEI Scale 3 and six times HUAWEI Reward Points which can be redeemed against a future purchase, helping you build out your health tracking lineup for less.
Furthermore, until September 22 2027, shoppers will also receive 10 months of Bupa Well+ health services worth £200, including Digital GP appointments, physiotherapy support, mental health support and fitness and wellbeing resources.
Designed for those who want to track their health more intelligently, the HUAWEI WATCH D3 is packed with all-round monitoring features to help you make sense of what’s going on in your body throughout the day.
While researching this watch, I’d feared that it would be a bit too health focused for my needs, but upon trying it out for myself I realised that it actually offers the same impressive smart fitness features that HUAWEI’s watches are known for, but with the addition of these high-tech health features.
The WATCH D3 is gorgeous to look at – the screen is huge, crisp and bright, the controls clear and easy to use, and, despite the clever blood pressure monitor strap, is still sleek on the wrist.
Navigating the watch is easy, as is personalising it to suit your needs. I rearranged it so that the steps and fitness-tracking features came before the blood pressure monitoring page, which I was likely to use a bit less.

While it’s not necessarily I feature I feel that I need at this point in my life, I think it’d be really helpful for those requiring more frequent checks of blood pressure and SpO2 levels, helping them keep an eye for extra peace of mind.
The real standout feature is the multi-scenario medical-grade blood pressure monitoring (which has CE marking under the EU Medical Device Regulation), designed to help you build more of a detailed picture of your blood pressure trends over time.
The clever watch employs an innovative mechanical airbag strap to deliver effective compression and precise sensing on the wrist which, paired with a high-precision sensor and an adaptive measurement algorithm, gives accurate readings on demand.
Designed to help you track at any hour, the WATCH D3 can take readings throughout the day and night, with customisable intervals and quieter automatic measurements while you sleep for round-the-clock tracking to help you understand your health better.
Ideal for those looking to track their exercise, too, the watch also offers pre- and post-exercise blood pressure measurements, designed to help you understand whether your blood pressure is within a suitable range before working out and monitor changes afterwards.
But beyond blood pressure monitoring, the HUAWEI WATCH D3 has been designed to support a huge array of health monitoring features, all trackable through Health Glance.
It’s here that you can generate a detailed report in around 60 seconds covering up to 11 key indicators, including heart rate, blood pressure and SpO₂, offering a convenient and holistic view of your health status.
