Dolly Parton’s century-old Hollywood home back on the market 2 months after her death β€” and you can rent it for $10k

LEAVE A COMMENT Less than two months after her death, Dolly Parton's memory and legacy remains as strong as ever – and apparently, so does her real estate portfolio.

A new update, per Realtor.com, reveals that one of the country music superstar's former homes has gone back on the market for rent.

The home, being listed by KW Los Angeles, is located on 9060 Harland Ave, in the city's exclusive Design District. Per its listing on Zillow, it was built in 1923 and is being branded as a "rare opportunity to lease a piece of Hollywood history at 9060 Harland Avenue, the legendary former home of Dolly Parton."

The two-bedroom two-bathroom home is spread across nearly 1,100 sq. ft, a single family residence that is already fully furnished and ready to move into, including a variety of modern amenities like new stainless steel appliances, in-residence laundry, designer tiles, open-concept living space with natural light, a backyard, private balconies for the bedrooms, even a walk-in closet.

It also offers a large patio for entertaining and is being listed as "an ideal retreat for those relocating, renovating, or seeking a refined and historic place to call home."

Photos of the property show that while it has mostly been furnished with standard pieces that prioritize natural earth tones, wood finishings, and some ornate statues by a garden fountain, inclusions of gingham and especially the butterfly motif in the living room are classic Dolly.

Dolly reportedly purchased the property in 2007 for $1.2 million, putting it on the market for $1.4 million in 2014, although it was finally sold in 2023 for $1.2 million.

It has since been listed and removed several times over the years, most recently listed for rent in July 2026 for $12,000 a month. It was removed on October 19 before being re-listed the next day for a reduced rate of $9,995 a month.

The late "Jolene" singer owned several homes throughout her lifetime, mostly with her husband Carl Dean, although they were mainly spread out through Tennessee and California.

Dolly owned particularly large estates in Sevierville, Brentwood and Nashville in Tennessee, with the former being the town where she was raised. She also maintained property in Pigeon Forge, where Dollywood was.

In California, Dolly owned homes at different points in West Hollywood, Idyllwild and Solvang. The only exception was an apartment she reportedly rented out consistently in New York City's Fifth Avenue. Her primary base though, was in her home state of Tennessee with her husband.

Carl passed away in March 2025, after nearly 60 years of marriage. Dolly died on August 25, 2026 at the age of 80, and was later buried beside him.
