Saudi Pro League Table After Al Nassr Won 1-0

According to a report by BBC Sport on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, Al Nassr secured a vital 1-0 victory over NEOM SC in their Saudi Pro League match.

Both teams started the contest with the aim of getting a positive result, but Al Nassr gradually took control as they searched for an early breakthrough. NEOM SC tried to frustrate their opponents with a disciplined defensive display, making it difficult for the home side to create clear chances during the opening stages.

Al Nassr had a golden opportunity to take the lead shortly before half-time when Cristiano Ronaldo stepped forward to take a penalty in the 45th minute, but the Portuguese captain failed to convert his effort, leaving the score level as both teams headed into the dressing room.

The missed penalty meant Al Nassr had to return for the second half with renewed determination, knowing that they needed to make their opportunities count if they wanted to secure the victory.

Their efforts eventually paid off in the 61st minute when João Félix found the back of the net to put Al Nassr ahead. Angelo Gabriel provided the assist for the goal, giving the Portuguese forward the opportunity to make the difference in a closely contested match.

NEOM SC attempted to respond after falling behind, but Al Nassr remained organised and defended their advantage well as the game progressed. Both managers made several substitutions in the second half in an attempt to change the direction of the contest, although the visitors could not find a way past their opponents.

The final whistle confirmed an important victory for Al Nassr, who will be pleased to secure maximum points despite Ronaldo’s missed penalty. The result sees Cristiano Ronaldo’s team move to third position on the Saudi Pro League table with 22 points, just three points behind leaders Al Qadsiah, while NEOM SC dropped to sixth place after suffering the defeat.
