NAFDAC won’t compromise on medicine safety under US-Nigeria deal — DG

The Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Prof. Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye, has assured Nigerians that the agency will maintain strict regulatory oversight of medicines and vaccines supplied under the United States Government–Government of Nigeria (USG-GoN) agreement.Adeyeye said the products are intended to support HIV/AIDS treatment and bridge the supply gap created by the exit of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
