Tinubu Hails Seyi for Organising City Boy Movement To Push For His Reelection

President Bola Tinubu has applauded his son, Seyi Tinubu by organising City Boy Movement (CBM) to mobilize for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Tinubu gave this commendation on Monday while speaking during event tagged- An Evening With the Original City organised by CBM at Banquet Hall, Aso Rock, Abuja.

His words: “Permit me a personal moment for my son, Seyi. I’ve watched what you started with City Boy, and I got some calls within the last few weeks asking me what Seyi is running for. I said he’s running after his father”

Tinubu thanked Seyi Tinubu for his support and for mobilising his young colleagues to support his re-election in the 2027 Presidential election.

Speaking proposal by Gbenga Hashim of Accord Party and Atiku Abubakar to return of subsidy on petrol, the President insisted on his stance not to return the subsidy

“I remember my scripture studies, both in the Bible and in the Holy Quran. When Moses and Musa left Egypt, they faced a challenge, and the Red Sea parted and gave way. You cannot ask Moses to go back to Egypt.” He explained.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, City Boy Movement Director General, Oluwatosin Shoga and other political Bigwigs graced the event.
