Portable Asks Tinubu And Seyi Tinubu To Pay Him More Money After APC Rally At Onikan Stadium

According to a report by TheCable on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, controversial singer Portable has called on President Bola Tinubu and his son Seyi Tinubu to give him extra payment for his performance at the APC rally held on Tuesday at Onikan Stadium.

The Tinubu Shettima rally attracted politicians and celebrities and Portable was one of the most active entertainers at the venue. Videos circulating online showed him running around the stadium hyping the crowd and performing with full energy.

In another clip that has now gone viral the singer was seen lying on the ground looking completely exhausted while insisting that he wanted to see Tinubu and Seyi. His manager Babylov was heard urging him to get up as they prepared to leave. Reports from the venue said the overcrowding inside the stadium was intense and that Portable fainted due to the heat and pressure.

Although he admitted that he was paid to appear at the rally, Portable said the stress he went through deserves more compensation. He said he was squeezed in the crowd and felt serious heat and that he deserved extra money for what he endured.

This is not the first time Portable has linked his political support to payment. In September 2025 he openly said he would support any politician who pays him first ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
